GUITAR.
Do you want to make the leap, from the imaginary stadium in your bedroom to the real stage, for actuals?
Maybe you've started the six-string journey on your own and are now looking for inspiration from someone experienced in the ways of the power chord and the whole tone bend. Someone who will take your playing to the next level and maybe show you how to put your foot on the foldback while blazing a wild solo.
Our guitar teachers know their Mac Demarco from a Big Mac, their Jimi Hendrix from Jimmy Page and are ready to guide you through your rock 'n' roll voyage.
BASS.
You are now about to enter the low zone… where you'll hold the whole band together with your impeccable feel and note selection. You're the interesting human who doesn't need to stand in the spotlight and is maybe just a bit mysterious.
What's that slung around your neck? Why it's a bass guitar, and on it, you only need to play one note at a time to make an impact and get the dance floor pumping.
Often overlooked but always felt, the bass guitar is what gets people out of their seats, and our Chiron Rock School bass teachers are ready to let you in on the secrets of the low end.
DRUMS.
Nothing is better than laying down a thick groove on the old skins, amirite?
Sitting behind a drum kit is the place where your long unruly hair is in its natural environment and hitting things is the name of the game.
Our drum studios are kitted out and ready to be your safe space where you will exercise your right to rock!
As the saying goes, a band is only as good as its drummer… so allow our motivating drum teachers to show you the right way to paradiddle, how to get the best out of your flam and why ghost notes are nothing to be afraid of.

KEYs.
Are those run of the mill classical piano lessons not quite kicking it for you, and you're Haydn your sheet music from your parents, so you don't have to practice?
Chiron Rock School welcomes you with open arms and is here to show you that there are no rules when you're being creative and rocking out. Believe it or not, keyboard/piano is a mainstay in the rock world and knowing your scales and inversions could help you to rock the hardest in your band.
Question: What's better than playing the keyboard in a band?
Answer: Playing two at once, with sunglasses on!
And you could do just that.
VOCALS.
Calling all class clowns and show ponies… your presence is requested at Chiron Rock School, and this is one place where you will certainly not be told to "be quiet"!
Put your boundless energy to good use and learn to be the best front person you can be. Sing the songs you want to sing, learn mic techniques that will help you sound sublime and confidently strut your way through this crazy thing we call life.
We wholeheartedly encourage you to use your effervescence to find your voice and kick start your creativity.
SONGWRITING.
Songwriting, a bit of a mystical art really. It's something that, if done well, can draw a listener in, establish an emotional connection and allow them to escape their own life for a while.
If you've never tried before but would like to have a crack of the whip, you might well be thinking, where do I start? Or what do I say? When do I bring the chorus in, and what the heck is a chorus anyway? Well, these are just some of the things that you will cover during our songwriting workshops as you bring your own story or ideas to life through song.
Got a diary that's bursting at the seams with poems, ideas, stories, or even random thoughts, come and be part of our songwriting workshops led by some of the country's finest wordsmiths.
BAND COACHING.
Have you memorised your favourite riff on that guitar of yours but are still feeling a little bit lonely? Maybe your parents are ready to move out after hearing you play the same drumbeat over and over and over… are you looking to meet like-minded humans that also want to rock?
Chiron Rock School is the home of rock, and not only do we offer individual instrument lessons, but we also offer band coaching sessions! With mentoring from one of our rock 'n' roll spirit guides, you and your buds will be in tune and in time, blazing through a song as a band and feeling the rush of aural delight in no time. Ta-dah!
Our teaching crew know their apples from pears cos they've been rocking for years, and when they aren't teaching, they are out there treading the boards themselves.
